This is as “Australiana” as it gets. The quiet village of Weston amid the lower Hunter coalfields under a glorious autumn sky. This classic country building sports commercial art of mixed message: an Arnotts Biscuits rosella next to a Westons Biscuits name in a suburb called Weston. Splendid.

My Dad was a signwriter, so I appreciate this fine example of precision work on a brick surface.
